Overseas Vietnamese in UK to build village in Vietnam

“Vietnamese Businesses in the United Kingdom” (VBUK) is working out a plan to construct a community village in Vietnam next year that will include housing, office space and a community center.

The plan was widely supported by members of the business association at a congress held in England on Wednesday, VBUK chairman Pham Minh Nam revealed. In addition to acting as a zoned residential area, the village will be a community center to support overseas Vietnamese providing information and communication between Vietnam and the UK Starting in 2008, VBUK will organize seminars and workshops designed to support and encourage cultural and educational activities within the overseas Vietnamese community in Britain.
