Vietnam and China's Macau to co-operate on tourism and labour issues
Senior officials of Vietnam and China's Macau have agreed to promote co-operation in labour, tourism, air transport, education and culture.
The affirmation was made by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem and Admund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of China 's Macau Special Administrative Region at their meeting on March 28.
The talks took place during Deputy PM Khiem visit to Macau from March 28-29 at the invitation of chief executive Ho.
The two officials affirmed that they attach importance to developing Vietnam-Macau friendship and co-operation. They agreed on the need to make more efforts to take the relationship to new heights.
They agreed to promote an exchange of delegations at different levels, among administrative, law-making, judicial sectors and mass organisations in order to boost mutual understanding, laying the foundations for a stable and long-term co-operation for mutual benefit.
Deputy PM Khiem and Ho Hau Wah of Macau agreed to encourage and create favourable conditions for businesses of the two sides to promote economic and commercial co-operation.
During the visit, Deputy PM and FM Khiem met with a number of major economic groups and businesses and visited several cultural establishments.
