Visa exemption agreement between Vietnam and Venezuela to take effect
A visa exemption agreement signed by Vietnam and Venezuela will officially take effect as from November 17, according to a press release by the Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry's Consular Department said on November 3 that under the agreement, signed on May 24, 2006, the two countries will grant visa exemption for each other's diplomatic and in-service passport holders for stays no longer than 90 days.
The countries will also waive visa for the other's citizens who hold diplomatic or in-service passports and are assigned to work for diplomatic or consular missions or international organisations that base on their territories , including their family members, during their service terms.
