Brunei airline launch flights to Vietnam

Royal Brunei Airlines has announced it will be adding Ho Chi Minh City to its international network commencing May 11. The three-times weekly service to the southern Vietnamese metro will depart Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan at 8.10pm (Monday) and 2.40pm (Thursday and Sunday) arriving in Ho Chi Minh City two hours later. Return services leave Ho Chi Minh City at 7.00am (Tuesday) and at 4.35pm (Thursday and Sunday).

“Apart from targeting passengers transiting to Australia, we also see Ho Chi Minh City as an alternative shopping and sightseeing destination for other markets”, said Rozman Junaidi, the airlines’ acting head of communications. The Brunei national flag carrier has been operating in the Asian region and Europe for more than 30 years with a current fleet of Boeing 767’s and Airbus 320’s. RBA flies daily to London, Dubai and Frankfurt and numerous ports in Asia.
