French communists appreciate VN's policies
The French Communist Party (PCF) has kept a close watch and appreciates the positive progress in Vietnam as well as the lines and policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), said a PCF senior official on March 24.
PCF National Secretary Marie George Buffet was receiving Do Nguyen Phuong, CPV Central Committee's member and Head of the Party's Commission of Science and Education, who is leading a CPV delegation for the 33rd PCF Congress.
She praised the CPV's determination to build a law-governed socialist State and the achievements the Party, State and people of Vietnam have made during the national development and socialism construction.
The French communist also expressed wish to intensify the relations between the two Parties.
For his part, Phuong applauded PCF's targets to mobilise people's strength and wished its congress success. He stressed the close and faithful relations of the CPV and Vietnamese people with the PCF and French people.
He conveyed the CPV leader Nong Duc Manh's congratulations to the PCF's congress and his invitation to PCF's chief for a Vietnam visit.
Mm. Buffet thanked Mr. Phuong and promised to visit Vietnam.
