Vietnam, Cambodia agree on border security
Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed on measures to ensure security along their shared border. The agreement covers illegal immigration, trafficking of women and children, drug and terrorist activities and the smuggling of goods. It follows a high level meeting in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh between the Interior Minister and Vietnam's Public Security Minister. Officials say the discussions focussed on the operations of so-called hostile forces, trying to undermine the two nations' traditional friendship and damage security.
