Vietnam’s Party chief to visit France soon
General Secretary Nong Duc Manh of the Communist Party of Vietnam will visit France soon, according to a report by the Vietnam News Agency.
France considers the Vietnamese Party chief’s coming visit as a milestone in the two countries’ traditional ties; the news agency quoted French Ambassador to Vietnam Jean Francois Blarel as saying.
During a reception given by Party General Secretary Manh in Hanoi on May 30, the French diplomat said he will do his utmost to further develop the ties between the two countries.
The Party leader asked the French diplomat to convey his greetings and best regards to President Jacques Chirac and other French leaders.
