US$50 mln golf course to be built in Vietnam's Hue City
HANOI - Vietnam's Huong Giang Tourism Company
has been given the green light to build a US$50-million golf course
at the Lang Co beach resort, nearly 80 kilometres south of the
ancient city of Hue. The 18-hole course will be able to host
international tournaments, a company spokesperson said.
Huong
Giang is seeking domestic and foreign investment in the project.
Huong Giang hosted 21,000 foreign tourists and 14,000 domestic
travellers in the first half of the year, and booked growth in
revenues and profits of 22 per cent and 79 per cent respectively in
the period.
