Baoviet Launches Vietnam's First Insurance Website HANOI - Vietnam Insurance Corporation, Baoviet, has launched its website - the first of its kind by a Vietnamese insurer. The corporation says the website, at http:/www.baoviet.com.vn, will help customers select the type of insurance service they require based on price considerations. It is aimed at responding quickly and conveniently to customers' demands relevant to insurance products, services, terms of payment and insurance transactions. The eight-page website is in both Vietnamese and English to allow easy access for users both domestically and overseas. The corporation says it provides readers with information on the insurance industry in Vietnam, representative offices of foreign and local insurance companies, and their insurance market shares. It also contains a customer comment section to give the corporation vital feedback. This website launches Baoviet into the world of e-commerce and is part of its efforts to promote "efficiency and competitiveness". The corporation is currently the only insurance body in Vietnam that provides both life and non-life insurance with more than 50 different insurance products.
