Franco-Vietnamese hospital nears completion

HO CHI MINH CITY - Workers are putting a final touch on the Franco-Vietnamese Hospital building as the opening is scheduled for next month. The foreign-invested hospital, covering 20,000 square meters in Saigon South, has 26 wards, 200 beds and nine operation theaters, and is owned by Far East Medical Vietnam Ltd. It has total investment capital of US$40 million.

The hospital will provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services and high-quality medical care through surgical, maternity, cardiology and oncology centers. Sixty nurses recruited by the hospital completed an international refresher course in December.
