Vietnam launches largest-ever anthology of literature
HANOI -
Vietnam on Thursday launched its largest-ever general anthology of the country's literature, spanning a thousand years of
history.
The General Anthology of Vietnamese Literature features the works of 900 authors from the middle of the 10th century to the
middle of the 20th century, professor Nguyen Khanh Toan told a press conference here.
The anthology -- which is made up of 42 volumes -- has been compiled since the end of 1970s by researchers and lecturers at
a number of diffferent centers and universities around the country.
